For the first time since 1947 this area of North CarÂoliÂna received a White ChristÂmas. It startÂed late in the day and I thought for sure we were going to get skunked but at around 8 p.m. the rain which had been falling most of the day turned to snow. WithÂin minÂutes the ground startÂed to turn white. I stayed up as late as posÂsiÂble but called it a night someÂtime after 9 p.m. The next mornÂing we woke up to a wonÂderÂland. It was gorgeous!
The snow is slowÂly disÂapÂpearÂing but there is still a lot of it around. I’m glad I took lots of picÂtures of the beauÂty. Soon it will all be gone.
